AstraZeneca Pharma Poland with a new CEO

Wiktor Janicki has been appointed as President of the Management Board of AstraZeneca Pharma Poland, the company announced. In his new position he will be responsible among others for implementing innovative solutions in the area of health and relations with the public and other stakeholders in the country.

Well-known industry personality moves from Roche to AstraZeneca

Wiktor Janicki is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics. Almost from the beginning of his career his professional experience has been connected with the pharmaceutical industry. Since 2003 he has been working for Wyeth for over six years, where he started in the area of financial controlling up to the position of financial director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Janicki has also worked for companies such as Janssen-Cilag and, just before moving to AstraZeneca, Roche, where he served as General Manager in Poland from 2016.

As reported, Wiktor Janicki in his new role will be involved in setting strategic directions for AstraZeneca’s development in Poland. Among other things, the new CEO will be responsible for implementing innovative solutions in the area of health and relations with the public party and other stakeholders in the country.
