Marcin Pirog is no longer the President of the Management Board of Biomed-Lublin. On 30 November, he submitted a statement of resignation from his position. What was the reason?

Resignation after more than three years of holding the office of the President

Marcin Pirog has been President of the Management Board of Biomed-Lublin since June 2017. He started his new four-year term in February 2020. Now, however, we learn about his resignation before the end of this term. The company informed about the reason for his resignation in its current report, published on PAP. It turns out that his resignation was due to discrepancies between Marcin Pirog, then President of the Management Board and Chairman of the Supervisory Board, as well as with other representatives of the Biomed-Lublin Supervisory Board. These issues were to concern the functioning of the organisation as well as the implementation and execution of the company’s strategy, including its future development.

It was informed that the duties of the President of the Management Board of Biomed-Lublin will be taken over by Piotr Fic, who has held the position of the Vice President of the Management Board in the company since November 2020, more on this subject here.
