Julita Czyzewska is no longer president of PZU Zdrowie, a subsidiary of PZU operating in the private medical care segment. Sebastian Tabaka and Piotr Lizukow have also been dismissed from the board.

Dismissal of CEO and members of the Management Board of PZU Zdrowie

Anna Janiczek became the acting president of PZU Zdrowie. Her aim is to best adapt the company to new challenges – to go through a difficult period associated with the pandemic, and then continue to develop the company in the market of medical operators. Anna Janiczek has been associated with the PZU Group since 2016. Initially, she was the director of the customer relations management office. In autumn 2019, she took up the position of the managing director of marketing and customer relations. She implemented a comprehensive client experience management program (the first in the insurance industry), as well as the pro-client program CX Academy. Previously, she worked at the Royal Bank of Scotland for nearly seven years.

Julita Czyzewska has been working for the PZU Group since 2000. She was Director of Strategic Projects, Director of Personal Injury and Benefits Liability and Director of Health Products Office. She has been the President of PZU Zdrowie since spring 2016. Sebastian Tabaka was appointed to the Management Board in autumn 2017 and Piotr Lizukow in spring 2019. Maciej Kolek has also been on the company’s board of directors since 2015.

Personnel revolution at PZU

Recent weeks have brought a real personnel revolution in PZU. In mid-March, Paweł Surowka resigned from the position of president of PZU. He held this position for three years. No reasons were given for his resignation. The PZU Supervisory Board appointed Beata Kozlowska-Chyra in his place. This decision has yet to be approved by the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Beata Kozlowska-Chyra served as a member of the Supervisory Board of PZU, TFI PZU and PTE PZU and was twice a member of the Management Board of PZU. She was also a member of the management board of PZU Zycie. Currently, she also serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Grupa Lotos.

Roman Palac, who was president of the company until February, also resigned from the position of a member of the management board of PZU Zycie. Aleksandra Agatowska became the new President of the company. She has been with the PZU Group since March 2016, when she became a member of the Management Board of PZU Zycie and became a Group Director in PZU.
