LUX MED: Free medical package after losing a job

The LUX MED Group, through its Pakiet Pomoc, offers free medical care until the end of August 2020 for people who, as a result of the coronavirus epidemic, find themselves in a difficult health, material and life situation. This applies to people who were employees of companies using LUX MED services on the basis of a medical services contract.

The aid package is intended for people who have lost their jobs or have been forced to suspend or close down their businesses. The benefits are financed by the Dr Joanna Perkowicz LUX MED Foundation. The help can be used by the employee’s own children, as well as children adopted by the employee who are under 18 years of age on the day of signing the contract. In the case when a child attends school, assistance is offered to the child until he/she turns 26. The child should have medical care on behalf of the company in March 2020.

The package provides basic medical care which consists of visits and consultations with selected specialist doctors, online consultations with the doctor, nursing and outpatient care and access to basic prevention and laboratory and imaging diagnostics. All services are provided in LUX MED and Medycyna Rodzinna’s own facilities. The medical care is available from the date of loss of employment, but it cannot be earlier than 1 May 2020. Medical care is financed until the end of August 2020, provided that the employer remains a client of LUX MED until that time.
