Medicover has agreed to purchase the CDT Medicus Group, a prominent private healthcare provider in Legnica-Glogow. Medicover’s portfolio will grow by numerous medical facilities, including two hospitals and more than a dozen outpatient clinics, as a result of this investment. The deal still must be approved by the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection before it can be finalized.

Medicover, which manages a hospital portfolio that includes Medicover Hospital, Damian Hospital, Neomedic Group, Rehasport, MML Medical Centre in Warsaw, and the Dom Lekarski chain in Szczecin, will acquire the CDT Medicus Group once the agreement’s conditions are met and UOKiK has given its approval. Medicover expects further growth as a result of the CDT Medicus Group’s strong position and anticipated synergies.

The CDT Medicus Group, founded in 1992, today employs over 1000 people, including 330 physicians and 225 nurses. It offers services in a commercial model, such as fee-for-service (FFS), outpatient and inpatient care funded by the National Health Fund, and medical subscriptions. It also works as a subcontractor for some of Poland’s most prominent medical organizations.

Medicover Poland has been focusing on a wide variety of services from health to well-being for the past 26 years. Preventive and outpatient care, specialized healthcare, contemporary dentistry services, advanced in vitro treatments, and creative wellness solutions, including sports and diet, are all part of the portfolio. Medicover owns and runs 70 fitness clubs and gyms across Poland, as well as medical facilities, high-profile hospitals, pharmacies, infertility clinics, dentistry centers, and optical salons. It also provides corporate customers sports and entertainment packages, as well as dining services. Medicover Poland has a presence in all of Poland’s regions.
