Medicover: 3 new clinics in the first half of 2019

Medicover, one of the largest private medical companies in Poland, expands its operations to include new facilities.

A few days ago, the company opened the Interfactory Centre in Leszno, which specializes in occupational medicine. The clinic also offers psychotechnical examinations and consultations with the doctor, ophthalmologist, laryngologist, neurologist and gynaecologist.

In the first quarter of this year, a new medical centre in Łódź is to be opened. The facility will be located in the Cross Point building and will consist of 20 surgeries. Medicover Optyk and Stomatologia Medicover will also be located in the same location. It will be the third branch of the chain in the city.

Medicover has also planned the opening of a medical centre in Gdańsk for the first half of the year. The company already has one outpatient clinic in the city, which is to be expanded in the first quarter of this year. In mid-January, also in Gdańsk, a dental centre was opened. It is located in Olivia Business Centre.

Investment plans for the coming months also include the expansion of the medical centre in Gliwice.

The year 2019 will be another year that will be marked by investments of private medical companies. The opening of new clinics has recently been announced by one of the biggest rivals of the chain – the LUX MED Group.  In turn, Enel-Med, another large company in this segment, is looking for ways to diversify its activities.
