Pratia, a Neuca Group company with over 90 dedicated and hospital-based research centers in six countries, has invested in the Clinical Research Union network of research centers in Bulgaria.

 

Pratia’s European expansion

Pratia, a Neuca Group company, has invested in the Clinical Research Union network of research centers in Bulgaria. Following Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic, Bulgaria is another country where Pratia is expanding its activities. At present, Pratia’s portfolio includes more than 90 dedicated and hospital-based research centers in six countries. Pratia conducts more than 500 clinical trials annually. According to Neuca, Pratia is the largest independent network of research centers in Europe.

The Clinical Research Union network consists of 18 research centers, including 13 centers located at hospitals.

Pratia operates under a model of conducting research in different types of centers: dedicated in-house outpatient centers, hybrid centers collaborating with hospitals or specialized oncology research centers. The Company conducts research in the fields of oncology, hemato-oncology, vaccines or infectious and autoimmune diseases, among others.

The core business of Neuca Group which was founded in Poland and to which Pratia belongs, is the wholesale distribution of pharmaceuticals. Through Synoptis Pharma, the Group also operates its own brands Apteo, Genoptin, Cera+ and Kic Kic. The Group also operates Świat Zdrowia medical clinics and other companies in the field of telemedicine, among others.
