Plus in cooperation with Telemedi.co has introduced medical teleconsultations for its clients. E-consultation with an internist or paediatrician is available in the mobile subscription of the network as part of the monthly fixed fee.

During an ongoing epidemic, e-consultation facilitates access to the GP. Thus, they limit the doctor’s direct contact with the patient, reducing the risk of the disease. Teleconsultation takes place via chat, video or telephone conversation.

Consultations offered by Plus take place via the plus.telemedi.co platform, and the user can connect with the selected doctor at any time, 7 days a week. As part of the e-consultation, the doctors collect a full medical history, interpret the available laboratory and image test results, issue recommendations on the treatment procedure for viewing and printing within the Individual Patient Account. On the basis of the consultation, they can issue an e-prescription, referral and sick leave.

Cost of service in the subscription

The service is activated by subscriptions remotely and the cost of the new functionality is added to the monthly subscription fee. A remote visit to an internist or paediatrician can be arranged by the person whose data was provided during the registration process.

The monthly cost of the service added to the bill is PLN 15,99 gross. According to the information provided in the company’s announcement, for comparison, a single telemedical visit costs on average PLN 49 gross. Furthermore, the operator made it possible to resign from the telemedical consultation service at any time. However, in case of resignation before 12 months, customers lose access to the service for another year.
