In the second half of March, a leading player in the frozen products logistics segment announced that it had received a certificate authorising it to distribute drugs. The company intends to transport pharmaceutical products within Poland and the EU.
Certificate authorising the transport of drugs
Frigo Logistics Sp. z o. o. has received the Certificate of Good Distribution Practice (DPD) in the field of transport and forwarding of medicinal products for human use. This will enable the company to develop its transport with participation in the drugs distribution process in Poland and the EU.
The certificate was awarded by DEKRA Certification Sp. z o. o. and is a guarantee of safe receipt, transport, storage and dispatching of pharmaceutical products.
Frigo – current activities on the distribution market
Frigo Logistics has so far been known as a logistics operator of deep-frozen products, and for some time also fresh and defrosted products. The company has two high storage warehouses at -22°C, located in Znin near Bydgoszcz and in Radomsko, as well as distribution warehouses in Warsaw-Blonie, Czeladz and Zdzary near Szczecin.
Frigo offers logistics services for the receipt of goods, storage, picking, delivery, transport and distribution. So far, the company has supplied food products to well-known retail chains.
