The 29th finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC) will be held on 31 January. This year, the Damian Medical Centre (CMD) has become its partner for the third time. As part of the cooperation, a virtual clinic will be launched.
This year, due to the pandemic, CMD specialists will provide teleconsultations in a specially organised GOCC clinic. What is more, during the finale the Damian TV Studio will be launched to broadcast live the most important events connected with GOCC. This is also where conversations with CMD experts will be held in between teleconsultations.
You can sign up for teleconsultation on the website, but there is also access to specially prepared auctions. Among other things, you can take part in the auction of a Comprehensive Health Review for two at the CMD. The income from the auctions is donated to the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity (GOCC).
GOCC is a foundation whose main goal is to work in the field of health care. During the annual GOCC Finals, which take place in January, funds are collected for a predetermined purpose, most often connected with children’s health. The aim of this year’s finale is to purchase state-of-the-art equipment for children’s ENT, otolaryngology and head diagnostics wards. In 2020, over PLN 186m was collected. What is more, in total, since 1993, the campaign has already collected more than PLN 1.2bn.
