The new ordinance of the National Health Fund introduces an increase in the correction coefficient at the National Health Fund. Therefore, when settling benefits for people aged 0-6 and 66-75, it increased from 2.4 to 2.7. This means an increase of the ratio by 13%. It results in an increase in financing of benefits in POZ by about PLN 62 million in the fourth quarter of 2018.
However, the new funds will cover, among others, the costs related to the implementation of increases for nurses and midwives. This will probably not translate into an increase in the availability of benefits.
