Super-Pharm, an Israeli network of pharmacies that also has business in Poland, is considering entering the Tel Aviv stock exchange. This is one of the development options that the management of the company in Israel is considering. The debut may take place in 2019.

In 2017, the owners of the company tried to sell it to the private equity fund CVC Partners. The subject of the negotiations was a 40% stake for $540 million. In the end, the transaction did not take place due to the lack of agreement with the shareholder Leon Koffler.

In Israel, the company operates a network of 243 pharmacies. There are 76 of them in Poland, but its expansion was stopped by the “Pharmacy for a pharmacist” act. The company admits that also in Israel the recent legal regulations were not favourable for it. Boryka is also facing growing competition on this market.

In Poland, the largest number of Super-Pharm outlets are located in Warsaw (15), Kraków, Poznań and Wrocław (5 pharmacies each).

The company also operates in China, where it owns 10 pharmacies.
