The Voxel Group, which operates a network of laboratories and imaging diagnostics, acquires another company. The company has concluded an agreement to purchase 59.99% of shares of Rezonans Powisle. On the day on which the agreement was signed, the cost of the shares was almost PLN 6.1m.

Acquisition in line with the strategy

Of the agreed amount, Voxel has paid 90% so far. The final price is to be determined on the basis of the liabilities and funds of the acquired company, along with additional provisions in the concluded agreement.

The acquisition decision is a continuation of Voxel’s development strategy for imaging diagnostics. In particular, it concerns the increase in the number of laboratories and the number of examinations performed. According to the company, there are a number of synergies between the main business segment and the Rezonans Powisle.

Rezonans Powisle is a company which carries out medical activity at two locations: county hospitals in Dabrowa Tarnowska and Brzesko. It is responsible for MRI scans paid for via public funds in accordance with contracts concluded with the National Health Fund, along with examinations on a commercial basis.

Earlier acquisitions

In 2019 Voxel took over two companies. The company became the majority shareholder of Vito-Med, a hospital operator in Gliwice, and Scanix, which runs diagnostic laboratories in the Silesia voivodeship. Both transactions were the result of arrangement proceedings concerning the debtor.
