FM Logistic, an international logistics operator, announced the expansion of its storage and distribution center for pharmaceutical products in Blonie near Warsaw. This is the result of a recently signed long-term cooperation agreement with Polpharma, informs wnp.pl.
FM Logistic will invest over PLN 60m
The agreement between FM Logistic and Polpharma concerns comprehensive warehouse and transport services for the entire portfolio of the latter company in Poland. This means that the warehouse in Blonie will be used for central distribution of Polpharma’s products manufactured by 5 plants in Poland. The facility will become a central warehouse and pharmaceutical distribution platform.
FM Logistic will invest approximately PLN 60m in the expansion of its pharmaceutical warehousing and distribution centre (according to the company, the largest of its kind in the region of Central and Eastern Europe). The commencement of operations in the new warehouse is planned for the second quarter of 2020. After the completion of the investment, the platform in Błonie will have a total area of 92 thousand square meters and a capacity of over 140 thousand pallets.
