New NFZ vice president for medical affairs

Dr. Bernard Waśko was unanimously positively assessed as a candidate for membership of the board of the National Health Fund (NFZ). As Deputy Chairman of the Fund, he will be responsible for the medical division.

Until 2011. Waśko was the director of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Rzeszów. Later, he served as a medical director in the consulting company PwC. He will start working for the National Health Fund on 11 April.

So far, the Fund has had two vice-presidents. Since June 2018. Dariusz Tereszkowski-Kamiński is the deputy president for uniformed services. A month later, Andrzej Niedzielski was appointed to the position of the President for Operational Affairs.
