Orpea: New nursing home near Warsaw

Orpea Polska, one of the largest players on the geriatric care market in Poland, will launch a new nursing home. It will be located in Piaseczno near Warsaw and will operate under the Orpea Rezydencje brand.
New nursing home with nearly 150 places
The centre in Piaseczno near Warsaw has 144 beds in single and double rooms. The rooms are equipped with medical beds, a bathroom adapted to the needs of the disabled, a TV set and a system of communication with the staff. The new nursing home with an area of 5.6 thousand m2 has just obtained official permission to use. The first patients will be admitted in August 2020, according to medycynaprywatna.pl.
Orpea in the new centre will provide access to specialist doctors, including internal diseases, family medicine, neurology, psychiatry and anaesthesiology. Furthermore, the new nursing home will employ a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, speech therapists and animators. Among other things, the facility will have: the Alzheimer’s Centre, places for patients in the apocalyptic condition, living rooms, a rehabilitation room, an occupational therapy room and a library.
Orpea on the geriatric care market in Poland
Orpea Polska has been operating on the market since 2001. It runs nursing homes under the brand names Orpea Residences and Medi-System. They are located in Warsaw and its surroundings, Chorzww and Wroclaw. In the latter location, apart from a nursing home, there are also apartments for seniors (the so-called assisted living formula). In addition, the company operates rehabilitation clinics under the Clinea Klinika and Medi-System brands. In total, there are about a thousand places available.
As we wrote earlier, Orpea’s strategy in Poland is to open centres in the centre or near the largest cities. In the next few years the network plans to open at least eight facilities in Poland under the Orpea Rezydencje and Kliniki Clinea brands. The number of available places in the centres is to increase to nearly 2,000.
