In Q4 2020, consolidated sales revenues of Telemedyna Polska increased by 96% y-o-y and amounted to PLN 2m. In the entire 2020, the sales revenues of the company, which specialises in telecardiology services for individual patients and for medical facilities across the country, amounted to PLN 5m and increased by 0.2% compared to the previous year.

The last quarter of the 2020 turned out to be good for the Telemedycyna Polska, which specializes in telecardiology services for individual patients and medical facilities across Poland. In Q4 2020, the company’s consolidated sales revenues increased by 96% y-o-y and amounted to PLN 1,997,000. In all of 2020, the company’s consolidated sales revenues amounted to PLN 5,007,000 and increased by 0.2% year on year, while Telemedicine Polska’s net profit amounted to PLN 325,000 in 2020. For comparison, a year earlier the company recorded a loss of PLN 118,000.

In its Q4 2020 report, the company said that patients with cardiovascular conditions are at increased risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection and this poses a growing challenge to the healthcare system. The same is true for the elderly, among others. According to the company, market awareness of the benefits of telemedicine and telecare solutions is becoming greater in times of pandemic. However, the company felt temporary negative effects of the pandemic in some areas of its activity, such as temporary closure of some clinics which are customers of the company, but in the medium and long term Telemedyna Polska sees opportunities for development. The company’s offer in terms of many services is aimed at the elderly, who are a group of higher risk in terms of COVID-19, which should further support the demand for telemedicine services.
Telemedicine Poland specialises in cardiology services for individual patients and medical facilities in Poland. The company has been listed on the WSE since 2010. Telemedicine Poland has its own Telemedicine Center employing doctors specializing in non-invasive cardiac diagnostics. The Centre operates round the clock, all year round. The company offers Kardiotele – round-the-clock cardiological telecare, where patients are equipped with a portable ECG machine, using which they can send data over the phone and consult them with a doctor from the Telemedicine Centre.
