Zortrax, a Polish developer of comprehensive 3D printing solutions, has formed a subsidiary to tap into what it describes as the “the booming market for dental 3D printing”. On 16 June Zortrax Dental announced that it is starting a crowdfunding campaign to help finance initial production.

Ambitious plans for Zortrax Dental

Zortrax Dental wants to raise PLN 4m from investors. The funds will be used to produce the first batch of a 3D printer for dental practices that it has developed. They will also help pay for promotional activities in Europe, the United States and Asia.

Zortrax Dental said it plans to achieve pan-European sales coverage in the second quarter of 2022 and become a global player a year later. The company’s goal is to reach PLN 66m in annual sales by 2025 (base case scenario).

The company intends to list its shares on NewConnect in the first half of 2022.
