The Ministry of Health informed that the first batch of protection measures will be delivered to schools by 1 September. It will be 20 million protective masks and 5 million liters of liquid for disinfection. All this will be done within the framework of the action #SafetyReturntoSchools.

Support for schools in the new school year

The supply of liquids and masks will be provided free of charge by the Ministry of Health. As part of the directors’ support, more than 17,000 automatic dispensers with disinfecting fluids have already been delivered to schools. So far, 19,000 schools have applied for the provision of free protection measures. The action is open to school and educational directors.

The received medical masks are to be used by teachers and school staff. Initially, the applications can be submitted until 10 September.

Supply of masks and action plan

Additionally, the Ministry of National Education, together with the Ministry of Health and the Chief Sanitary Inspector, prepared guidelines for schools and educational institutions concerning the organization of school work in the new school year.

Total until 1 September, 2020. The Ministry of Health is to provide 20 million protective masks and 5 million liters of disinfectant.
